Blue Moon on 31st October? There is no Blue coloured Moon on that day, it is a misconception. The term blue moon refers to two full moons appear in a single month; a blue moon occurs every 2.5 years and it falls on Halloween once every 19 years.

Fun Fact:
On the 30th of October, one day before the Blue Moon was the time when the Red Planet Mars can be visibly seen near to the Moon. It is 3.3 degrees North of the Moon during that day.
